Very BIG Day!

Today is a day that has been looooooong anticipated in our house. Emma finally gets to graduate to a big kid booster seat! You would have thought she hit the toy store jackpot!

Here she is very proudly showing off her new seat ~ pink with flowers! I bought this particular one because it had really great reviews and it folds and fits into a carry bag, which will make it so great to take on our trips this spring and summer.



We told her she had to be 4-years-old and at least 40 pounds (because that's the federal requirements) so she diligently checked her weight every week for a couple months to see if she had arrived!

I can't believe how Emma is growing up so quickly.

Our Turn for the Yuckies

Emma is now fighting the infamous bug that seems to be going around. :( She is such a trooper about it ~ and never complains ~ but I know she doesn't feel well. First thing she said this morning (through her cough), "Maybe we can just spend all day in the craft room." That's my girl! And since Daddy is at a seminar all day, that is probably what we will do. So I will be back later to post some cards.

Little Helper

Today is that day again ~ cleaning day! But I have a great helper so it makes it a lot more fun.



When Emma was done cleaning she said, "I want to eat a really big lunch today so I can grow. Can you make a lot of food so I can grow?" She makes me laugh every single day!

We enjoyed watching the Patriots lose...I mean watching the Giants win...yesterday. There were even some funny commercials, which was an improvement from last year. Did you have a fave?

And the icing on the cake was when our friends shared their exciting news that they are pregnant! That was SO fun to celebrate in their joy!!!
