One cool cracker!
Don't you love it when you get a "just because" gift?! My dear friend Kisti went to Texas and brought me back these adorable Texas-shaped crackers. They are difinitely the coolest cracker I've ever seen! And because I am a Texan to the core, I love anything Texas-shaped.

Who knew corn could be so fun?!
On our road trip to OKC, we pulled over one night to trade drivers. Well I looked out the window and saw that we pulled up next to a corn silo, and lots of corn had been spilled onto the ground. So I told the girls to get their shoes on, and we jumped out to play in the corn!

Texas is just cool like that!

Wedding Extras
These are some miscellany pics from our time in OKC that I wanted to share.
Our first night there we had dinner at Pops...one of the coolest burger joints on Route 66. They have hundreds of bottled drinks from all over the country...new and old!

Nate snagged an extra goodie bag from the rehearsal dinner.

Mendy set up the cutest reception ever! Her nature-lovers theme was so perfect. She had silver branches with river rock on the tables with pictures of her and Tomy clothes pinned to the branches.

They served their favorite snacks in these cute glass jars. Doesn't Mendy have the cutest handwriting?! Love it!

Drinks were served in Mason jars, and the guests got to keep them.

Mendy's parents and SIL helped set up the cupcake tower. I didn't get a picture, but I will share one when I get it from someone else. They were cute!

Mendy painted these these canvases for the ceremony and hung them on pillars.

There were so many special details, and I know I missed getting pics of many of them. But it was a special day and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I loved seeing Tomy's and Mendy's creativity in everything they put together for their special day.

And a day at the water park...
During our trip to OKC, we took a day to go to Whitewater Bay. It was a great destination on a day when the temperature and humidity reached into the 90s!

My niece, Kalie, taking a jump.

This was everyone's favorite slide.

Rehearsal Dinner Decorations
We had the best time in OKC...despite the incredible heat and humidity! I have tons of pictures to show you, so I will break it up over several days.
The rehearsal dinner was tons of fun! I've been so excited to show you pictures of the decorations that I worked on for so long. It was a BBQ theme with food from Tomy's favorite BBQ place Swadley's.
The centerpieces had the table number and table topics/jokes, which were stuck into sand in the buckets. The small pails had each person's name on it with their first initial, and these served as the place setting as well as favors that each guest got to keep.

My cousin Jenny, Aunt Linda and Uncle Fate.

My Dad and Aunt Denise helping with set up.

Part of the wedding party.

Me and my new sister-in-law Mendy!

This is my sister Cynthia, my brother Tomy, me and our Mom.
