Annual Wright Family Picnic

Every year the Wrights have a famliy picnic at the Pueblo City Park. The best part is the rides we get to go on...for a quarter! The whole family takes a train ride together then the kids scatter to ride their favorite rides.

Nate is on this roller coaster with his Aunt Judi. She is holding his head to keep him from getting whiplash. He LOVED it!

Mom's 60th!

Last weekend, after a long day at the lake, we celebrated my Mom's 60th birthday!

The grandkids got her a "one" candle because she is a #1 Grandma (or Nanny as they call her)!

My Mom with all her grandkids.

The granddaughters got together and bought her a gift package to "keep her young." It was so cute to see the things they chose: a wig, plastic tools, fireman hat, broom for playing horse, fun flip flops and a Barbie doll. She LOVED it!

We bought my Mom a tree with this plaque as a memorial to my Grandma - who passed away one year ago this month.

Emma being silly!

What a weekend it was...

This summer we've been trying to get to the lake at least once a week. We love to take different friends and family, especially those who don't normally get to go. Last weekend we went with my parents, nieces from Texas and my sister's family. It was a total blast...as you'll see from all the great pictures.

We did lots of tubing and swimming. It was the best place to be that day since it was 104 degrees in Pueblo!
