The Spa ~ Before and After

One of the highlights of our Tucson trip was a half day at the spa with my sister-in-law, Judi, and my mother-in-law, Beth.

Judi and I got massages and pedicures and enjoyed a morning of chatting (and secretly rejoicing that we were kid-free). Here are the three of us before our spa treatments.


My beautiful mother-in-law decided to go with a massage and a facial. She went in looking like this...


And came out looking like this!


Judi and I nearly fell on the floor laughing! Beth was so awesome (and good-humored about getting her picture taken). Who knew she had a mind for playing practical jokes?!

She came out straight-faced and just looked at us. Neither Judi nor I recognized her at all. We just looked back at this woman staring at us and thought the very same thought. Did we take this woman's seat? Does she want us to move? Then it hit us and we laughed till we cried!!!

Beth, as they say in Hollywood...We got punked! Thank you for your awesome sense of humor and for giving us the best laugh I've had in months. I still get the giggles everytime I think of it.

What an awesome memory of a really fun day!
