Weekend Project

Tim and Emma finally got to the project that they have been talking about for weeks: building a swing set!

They planned this all out - complete with drawings - then went to Lowe's and bought all the supplies. The better part of Saturday was spent building this awesome thing! (They even worked in the rain. Emma said, "We don't care if we get wet!)

We have such a small backyard area that it took some creativity to build something that would fit. In the end Emma got a swing and a slide. The back part of the slide has a climbing wall to get up to the platform. It's very cool!






Emma said this was the happiest she has ever been! WOW ~ we should have done this a long time ago! She logged more hours on this one swing this weekend than she has her whole life on all the playgrounds we have visited. It was so fun to see her excitement. The best part was her saying that she would remember building this with her Daddy forever and ever.

**I will post more pics of the finished project once it's done. They still have to add the railing to the platform.**
