I just thought I should let you know I am OK. Or at least my heart is still beating. I'm still breathing in and out. Being OK is relative isn't it?
We are going to San Antonio tomorrow for a low elevation, 10 year anniversary trip. I am looking forward to better days, being closer to sea level where the morning sickness seems to loosen its grip on me.
The baby I am carrying is very active. I mean very active! God has used that little life kicking my ribs to encourage me throughout the long days of nausea. I love to see the excitement on Tim and Emma's faces when they get to feel it. I am excited to meet this little person!
And I just want to say once again that celebrating our 10 year anniversary this week is such a wonderful feeling! Please read my earlier post about this special occasion. Many people talk about marriage being hard but I can say with complete honestly that thought has never crossed my mind. Being married to Tim is the best thing that has ever happened to me. We have a marriage that was made in heaven (literally) because God created us for one another. I am blessed!

No title needed
It's been a rough week with morning sickness. I'm hoping and praying I feel well enough to make the one hour drive to our family reunion this weekend. Maybe I will feel well enough to post pictures from Oklahoma and the reunion next week. I really do have some cool stuff to share...just not the motivation.

You're not gonna believe this....
Tim and Emma had the first camping trip of the summer planned for Friday night. As the week went on I was feeling better and better so at the last minute, I decided to go with them! I went camping!!! We had so much fun and I felt really good the whole time. It was just a one night get away, but it was well worth it!
We hiked down to the creek, and Tim fished while Emma and I soaked our feet and played games. We sat around the campfire and told stories and sang songs ~ we saw turkeys walk across our campsite ~ we saw bighorn sheep ~ we shot guns ~ played frisbee and just had a wonderful time together.
Here are highlights from our camping trip.

Emma and I leave for a week in Oklahoma City tomorrow morning, so we will be MIA for a while. I am sure we will have lots of pictures and stories to share when we return.
PS. I am exactly half way through my pregnancy today! Yeah!!!

Birthday Memories
This is the invitation I made for Emma's cowgirl birthday party.

That morning we had a special breakfast that Emma chose ~ strawberry and cream pancakes and cheesy eggs. (Tim is a great cook ~ especially breakfast items!)

Emma got to chew gum for the first time when she turned 5, which she promptly did after breakfast!

This is her birthday party at Grandma & Grandpa's house. All these kiddos are her cousins. They had so much fun on the hayride!

Some of her favorite gifts were her pink gun from Daddy and her princess dress from Grandma. This is what I mean by our "pirate princess."

My mom and sister stayed up till midnight making these adorable horse cupcakes for the party. They were such a hit!

I am so grateful for everyone who stepped up to make Emma's birthday special. Since I haven't been feeling up to doing much of anything, I was happy to let family take over and give Emma a great party! It was a memorable day!
